Another famous photo Occupy protest

Another famous photo Occupy protest

During a national divestment campaign millions of people withdrew their money from the "Too Big To Fail" banks. During a protest in Seattle at Pike Place Market the Washington Post and CBS News reported on my act: I burned my bank card. Soon dozens of other folks were cutting theirs in half in protest against the tax payer funded bailouts.

There is a famous Curiosity Shop in Seattle, and a strange museum in Anacortes. Both are amazing and freaky places to visit. Scorpion lolly pops anyone?

My show "MTC Report" can be seen @ Youtube. Rocky ran for president as an independent. I interviewed him and he was a very solid guy who was not afraid to criticize the established political parties.

The Jeff Santos Show is one of the best independent news and opinion programs on the air. You can hear/see it @ Revolution Radio Network. Broadcasting nationally from Boston. He has some of the best guests and he's a great guy.

Me performing w/The Galaxy Machine

Me performing w/The Galaxy Machine

The Galaxy Machine has played a lot of clubs in Seattle. We performed that night at the infamous Tiger Lounge where all sorts of shenanigans were taking place. Go-go dancers and spiked coffee were the themes of the night.

Burning my bank card...

Burning my bank card...

Thanks to Alex Grayson for some great photographs of the National Bank Transfer Day protests. Amazing photo journalist Joshua Trujillo took my photo that day and it went around the world after being picked up by CBS News and the Washington Post. I burned my card in a symbolic gesture inspired by inductees who burned their draft cards during the Vietnam War. Soon folks everywhere were doing the same thing...

Piles of bank cards on the ground...

Piles of bank cards on the ground...

This was part of the protest reported on by the Washington Post, etc. I started the trend by lighting my bank card on fire to protest the public bailouts of the big banks. Soon folks joined the protest and were cutting their cards in half and withdrawing their money.

Some folks heard me on the BBC so they made a cartoon of it. Apparently they used a photo of me as a model - back when my hair wasn't as long as it is now. Also, they thought I was living in the UK...
